When people let you down, Smile you have something to learn from it :)

I have no intention to challenge anyone’s abilities. I so far am a very potential believer that any human has ample competence to surpass any obstacle personally and professionally.
I am not writing because I think I should give a lecture. There are certain times when things said go out of hand. I am learning to laugh over trivial things to save big relationships. I hope I get the strength to do it further and always.
Now without wasting time let me come to the point. I was a little offended yesterday the way someone indulged in the discussion when I was asked a question. It is always good to give your opinion but not impose it on others. I was asked a question for which I was seeking an explanation to give an apt answer. It was not a “just a minute” contest where I hear a question and start speaking, it was the beginning of a good discussion. Intriguing in between us without being able to comprehend it, the person intermittently said that I cannot answer the question. When he himself had not listened and understood the question; He just threw his opinion that whatever would it be asked I wouldn’t be able to answer it. That was purely his conception about me. I am fine with it if he thinks I am dumb. It doesn’t really matter because he is not my boss whom I have to impress and I think he has accepted me with my incapability of being ignorant and not being as intelligent as he is. These are my perceptions about how he thinks about me. I could be potentially wrong. 
Now when the conversation was interrupted I had completely lost interest in the discussion. When anybody initiates a conversation it is very important to be patient enough to first listen and then give your opinion. I have this concern and believe that this piece of advice will help in a profession when one has to work in teams. It is imperative to appreciate people to open up and speak their mind rather than suppress the enthusiasm by some inappropriate remarks based on one’s prejudice.
I think I had understood what was being asked and replied appropriately. I don’t want to place my judgment, but my friend was not bothered about what was being asked or answered, instead the main motive was to prove that this lady is just not competent enough to answer any intelligent question rather she can’t even interpret it, forget about answering. When the person who asked me question looked satisfied and gave a rating of 8/10 (just because it was asked for to prove the point), further he was being forced to lower it down. It irked me a little more seeing that when someone seems to be happy with the answer he/she has got, some people have this tendency to culminate it down as to how can he/she be satisfied.Wohaa!!! what an inquisitive curious never satisfied people.Huh!!!
An active communication is not just speaking; it is more of listening, understanding and then responding appropriately. It is not when you already have some prejudices in your mind about a person and his profession, age, sex or any other protected characteristics. It is about being open to listen and think what people are saying.
Conclusion: 1) Interrupting when two people talk, is not a good manner. 2) Forcing your opinion about others cannot take you far. Let people decide how they want to reach to any conclusion.

He is anguished
And he is going through the pain
He needs recuperation
To get back in hale

He is strapping
But his signs fade
As he turns around
He should find people who care

His nights are caught
In your mercy
And the pain he has
Should be removed with your courtesy

Dear God! Listen to my prayers
As you do with all your children
Help him convalesce
As he sleeps in his den

For my friend and your child
Deserves the best of all
With love when you guide
His pain should subside every time you call

THE DREAM

I don’t know if dreams have any real connotation about one’s life. It is said that dreams unify the mind, body and soul. Dreams are mysterious and fascinating; they scare, amaze, give strength and break you down in pieces and what not. My confrontation with dreams is on every nap I take. In years, I haven’t seen a happy dream. I sometimes wish that it’s fine if I don’t have a joyful dream, but I should be spared from the nightmares. At times I run and go through such frightful torments in dream that I find myself awake as restless and exhausted as possible.

I have some recurring dreams too where I am either under water fighting for a survival, or some planes landing at my roof or some meteorites or similar things approaching me. I fear to sleep because there are moments during a dream that though I realize that it’s just a dream and if I open my eyes things would be fine, I find myself helpless and unable to open my eyes and let go the dream. It’s most likely a powerful thing which holds me tight and I can’t fight back. I also encountered my late grandfather a couple of times or more, he talks to me and says that he is around. I don’t understand if there is any meaning behind such dreams, if there is a signal or if I can interpret something by occurrence and reoccurrence of similar dreams.

Amidst all these tiring dreams I have seen you thrice so far in past few months, technically twice, because once it was only your voice which I heard. But whatever the case, I felt the magic when I saw you in my dream today. As usual the start of my dream was with running and trying to save myself from some random danger and then I enter a room where it’s only you and me. I stop and we smile at each other, my previous dream is over, there is nothing from which I am trying to save myself, I am not running. I look at you and you look at me and we don’t talk, we are very close to each other, we just smile and then we smile more and more…few minutes pass by and you say you are off to play football. We come out and you are gone, it’s the crowd and I am finding a place for me to sit. I don’t see you again and my dream is over as I wake up.

I am clueless what it signifies, or may be it doesn’t any, but if you are the only one who can bring a smile on my face and make me forget about all my worries, I won’t fear to dream. Whatever it is but I smiled in my dream after ages and I thank you for this. I want to sleep and dream, dream about you and me. 

Father and Daughter

“Honey, it’s already late, where is Sweety? She is not yet back home...”

“Oh, don’t worry, she must be out there playing with her new friends, she met last month…She was praising them a lot”

“One Month???”

“Yes, why are you surprised?”

“Because, she didn’t mention to me that she got new friends…”

“Common, that’s because you might not remember as you are always busy with your office work...”

“May be, but strange it is…I think I must go and look where she is”

There goes worried father to search his daughter who hasn’t returned home on time. He looks for her everywhere but just fails to find her. By every passing minute he is getting anxious. He is almost panicking and asks few people to help him tell if they have seen his daughter.

He describes “she is 5 year old, red frock, fair….short hair….golden shoes...”
“No, sir”

“Hey kid, you saw Sweety, this tall, fair, she is in frock…”

“No, uncle”

“Where’s my daughter?? Oh, someone tell me” he screams…

Wondering about her where-about he crosses by a field…nearby is a well…oh he is relaxed to see Sweety there, she looks very happy and playing …

“Sweetyy!!!!!, child, oh you are here”

“Hey daddy, come here, I will show you my friends…”

“Oh Dear, how did you come here, who got you here”

“Daddy, I come here every day with my friends”

“Where are your friends?”

“There down….”

Daddy is awestruck…there is only a deep well; one can’t see anything other than dark if bent down to see in it…

“Wait child don’t go down…”

“Daddy, common, you also come, its really nice place….”

Dad is worried like never before…

“No, baby, come lets go home”

He picks her up in his arms and starts to leave the place…She silently comes in his arms and sleeps…daddy is worried and walking away from the place…and suddenly he hears a sound…alarm ….5’0 clock in the morning…”oh, what dream was it” …daddy runs to Sweety’s room…finds his princess in sound sleep…and he takes a deep breath.

Limitless Review

After hangover, The A team and Valentine’s Day, the movies I have watched of Bradley Cooper, I think Limitless is his flawless performed movie. The effort as the role demands is well understood and showcased by the actor. The entire movie looks quite promising, but at times seems dragging.
Eddie Morra (Bradley Cooper), a struggling writer meets his divorced wife’s brother on the street and gets to know about a drug which is an unreleased and not tested drug. It gives him the power to use 100% of his brain, driving the knowledge from all the small incidences happened earlier sometime in his life. All of a sudden he becomes an expert as a multi linguistic personality, who is enormously sharp and can finish his books in just four days. He also does things which a super hero would do and then suddenly he realizes his ultimate goal which is way bigger than just being a writer. Movie after a drag moves to real mode of protagonist’s role and then it is roller coaster ride. As the great power comes with huge responsibility and problems, happens the same in his life and he gets involved with some of the threats with external elements. He also finds out that drug’s side effects are life threatening. The rest of it I leave for you to discover by watching the movie. It’s a good time pass and a one-time watchable movie. The background music was quite appealing to me. Robert de Nero is as usual always in form and performing the best.
Have fun watching the movie without high expectations and you will be able to enjoy this paranoia fueled action thriller.

motivating enough to be copied..

There comes a time when you must stand alone.

You must feel confident enough within yourself to follow your own dreams.

You must be willing to make sacrifices.

You must be capable of changing and rearranging your priorities so that your final goal can be achieved.

Sometimes, familiarity and comfort need to be challenged.

There are times when you must take a few extra chances and create your own realities.

Be strong enough to at least try to make your life better.

Be confident enough that you won't settle for a compromise just to get by.

Appreciate yourself by allowing yourself the opportunities to grow, develop, and find your true sense of purpose in this life.

Don't stand in someone else's shadow when it's your sunlight that should lead the way.

don't remember when I wrote this..found it in an old note book..

Everyday she walks down the street with a smiling face,
she likes the flowers and adores her young age.
she aspires to fly and
touch the sky…
and love the tintinnabulation of life..
she admires the chirping sound
in the midst of rain and cloud.
she saw some weird dreadful dreams
sometimes while watching she even did scream..
but when she woke up she loved her day
and mumbled her life in words she wanted to say…

just got to say..

When the heart sinks without any reason, looking for someone to hold before breakdown.
When the moving time is insignificant and only reminiscence is what I wish to live in eternally.
When the music played in vicinity just matches the doldrums and mind is lost in it without knowledge
When all in the world has lost its charm yet the only thing which can make me feel better is YOU.

left unsaid.. said it all...

By no means prior to this I undergo stances in my spirit
Just the measly contemplation of a name
Be capable of making every hitch out of list…
Through sheer reflection goes missing all that was a concealed shame..

The contact which can furnish the celestial sensitivity
Formulate you sense the ecstasy and yet you are on ground
The rhythm of heart beats the unrevealed persona of blowing wind
It’s hard to interpret your self indulgence and hence you start to search it around…

Despite the fact that I let surpass this twilight
Pondering are the miscellaneous humongous thoughts
and the moment we part we hardly ever converse
For the hearts be acquainted with the real twinge and admire which the eyes just caught..

Void Peace

I feel lonely and I feel destroyed,
but then I love these thoughts which are void.
I feel the peace in surrounding and noise within my heart,
painting my life with the paranormal art.
I feel succumbed and then I feel agitated,
I whisper and chant the love song I just created,
but I am scared it will be written off by…
So I hide it again and again and let it die…

The brilliancy of mind is not limited by gender

While I try to stay objective to the questions raised by today’s men about what is the significance of women to get into work when they comparatively have less skills and mind (as the men believe), deep down my skin and in my mind, I am fighting a battle with the society and its only for a reason that I am a girl and there are several other just like me fighting for what we deserve, what is our right. If we ask for going out and see the world, build a career and be self reliant financially, so that we can take care of ourselves and our dear ones, are we asking for too much? This is perhaps a strong base to talk with your friends or colleagues of opposite sex and realise how they think of women “the female” in their dictionary which can either be a sex object to satisfy their desire or a home maker who should just take care of home. Did I feel that the whole argument was that since girls start working (mostly forcibly, as they lack the skill and interest to work), they use their feminine characteristics to get into jobs, mostly by seducing the interviewer and take away the jobs of men who could be a better performer. It pities me if you think that girls are taking away your jobs, while in any case in men ruled world, a female competing for any position (mostly technical and managerial roles) with a man of same IQ level, she needs to prove her competency 10 times more effectively to grab the job, just because she is a girl and in our society the logic is that beauty and brain can’t go hand in hand. Only an average looking or ugly one can be a nerd and secure a role and the rest get it just because of their looks. Well, I feel, those who win the positions because of being fairer sex are in a different sector, like customer services, and that too is possible because of the caring and nurturing characteristics of women, because at any given circumstances anyone would prefer to hear soft voice and a beautiful face to welcome rather than a bearded face and a rough voice. Though I wonder if any girl will mind if the receptionist be a man, and at several places I have witnessed men being in the hospitality roles in various large chains of hotels and hospitals and clubs etc, and more interestingly the numbers of such cases are increasingly high for example you can look around and see the number of stewards in your flights.
With no offence to any one and any circumstances, I am forced to believe that no matter how advanced or modernised we have become or claim to have become or perhaps we blame the modernization for such effects (the empowerment of women in society), we taboo a female as an disadvantageous shit…a person or rather a commodity which should be kept within the boundaries of four walls at home and be used like a servant either to do home making or to be sex object for her husband. According to such type of ideology being at home a girl gets everything that she wants, a man, a home, emotional security and other material needs, but is this all she should be expecting to get? Can’t she be passionate about any particular career, can’t she have hobbies like any other boy say in sports, and can’t she wish to study further in her area of expertise just like any other man?
A girl if she thinks she should get out of the world and work because she likes to do it and her male counterparts misuse her or abuse her, it is believed that it’s her fault that she went out because men will obviously use them. So, for this reason should the girl be abolished to work or shouldn’t it be men change their thinking? I am shocked…
You argue that since the time of ancient ages it is followed in our culture that the moment girl reaches her puberty she gets married and gets no options to choose her husband (I say no, the women always had the right to choose the best man and hence we had the system of “swayamwar” where the girl chooses the best man who used to win over the others, in our culture we never had swayamvadhu concept that is the reciprocal of it.). Another argumentation in succession to this was when these practices were followed, the females used to be happy in comparison to girls today who get married late, who work with men, may (please note MAY) have several intimate relationships with more than one man because they don’t get the emotional security. Wait, did we talk about emotional security, how can we say that girls who get married at early ages and are not working are more emotionally secured? The research proves that there is still domestic violence persistency, and a female in such cases is succumbed to be the victim without raising her voice.

I strongly believe that only education can help break the prototype of gender discrimination. Educated women are indispensable to ending gender bias, starting by reducing the poverty that makes discrimination even worse in the developing world. The most basic skills in literacy and arithmetic open up opportunities for better-paying jobs for women. The longer a girl is able to stay in school or indulge in education, the greater her chances to pursue worthwhile employment, higher education, and a life without the hazards of poverty and dependability on anyone.

Women who have had proper schooling are more likely to get married later, survive childbirth, have fewer and healthier children, and make sure their own children complete school and become a better human. They also understand and practice hygiene and nutrition better and are more likely to prevent disease by visiting health care facilities. The UN estimates that for every year a woman spends in primary school, the risk of her child dying prematurely is reduced by 8 percent. Girls’ education also means widespread change for a society. As women get the opportunity to go to school and obtain higher-level jobs, they gain status in their communities. Status translates into the power to influence their families and societies. Bigger changes become possible as girls’ education becomes the cultural norm. Women can’t defend themselves against physical and sexual abuse until they have the influence over and the authority to speak against it without fear. Knowledge and awareness gives that authority.
If I continue writing at this sensitive issue I may end up writing for hours together, but this practice of discrimination and gender biasness needs to be checked. Every human has the right to live the life the way they want and a female is no different. The brilliancy of mind is not limited by gender, the narrowness of it is perhaps an adaptation which can be set free if we really want and aim to prosper together and not by bullying or suppressing the so called weaker and fairer sex.
To all the men in my world; you are perhaps my biggest enemies, but I love you all and need you more because you make me strong at every point you make me feel that I am a woman and trust me I am proud to be a woman.

Surrounded by Men

Women and men collectively complete their world; both are immensely obligatory to make a better place for each other, to shore up each other, to walk together and progress and to discharge the gap which could surmount in the absence of anyone of the duo.

The existing state of affairs of women empowerment shows and reflects that they are not less than men in any field and are showcasing their talents all over the place. We have lady doctors, teachers, authors, actors, politicians and so on. Way back in history when the female counterpart were taken as the weaker gender and were constraint in the four walls of the house have now been out ranged and have honed up their undeniable skills of multi tasking, creative and intellectual mind, which overshadows the biasedness towards the men.
In our society where men rule and are towards the broader population when it comes to successful counts women have stood by side and given equal competition. Living in the world where men rule and building up the personality is unquestionably the mark which women have achieved. From Rani lakshmi bai’s brave revolution against the firangs to Indira Gandhi’s phenomenal persona and Hilary Clinton’s remarkable victory which lets her more than just being Bill’s wife but a unique identity. There are several others like Katharine Graham, Caroline Moorehead, Kiran Bedi, Sonia Gandhi, Agatha Christie are just a few to name in the list which can just go on and on.

In spite of the issues that we confront whether at the work place, the society, the family, that men could be the biggest obstacle in a woman’s growth and also can be the most supportive depending on the mind set of the individual, with personal experiences to remember and jot. I feel there are three categories of men who treat women respectively in a different manner:
Type A : men see a woman as a extract, totally disregarded, having a very high attitude towards the inclined gender of theirs….

Type B : consider women as a benchmark for purity and honesty…
and very few of them consider them the same human beings as they themselves are… and I classify them as type C…. amidst a humongous number of type A people a woman find herself secluded…

Like wise the nature goes that I would not go wrong If I take the example of honeybee hive where the Queen, the lady bee takes the entire charge and the males play the aspect of the drones.

Life for a woman to grow amongst the men with their ego and testosterone high is conceivably one of the biggest confront, as learning, improving, honing up skills and multitasking is just another work for any woman but up-beating and keeping a pace with the male ego is perhaps she needs to learn and grow. Considering the fact that today women manage the home and office amazingly well in spite of the fact that they are the physically weaker counter parts but her working hours are the same as that of a man adding on to which she manages and keeps a family, where again a man would be leading one, owning the authorities and setting up few or more expectations with her.

Women entrepreneurs, renowned personalities, women from the entertainment, sport and fashion world including film stars, fashion designers and sports personalities have all succeeded in the places where men were already there as competitors. These ladies have overcome the rules, the myths and surpassed all the constraints which limit their destiny within the four walls of house. Their alluring charm and charisma makes them the most popular women around the globe and persons deserving everyone’s respect. The phrase ‘beauty with brains” truly comes alive through them. Women have made name, fame and money for themselves with their hard work, diligence, competence and will power.

A man comes up with his attitude of being superior over the female, of the feeling that he leads the family, of the grudge that the position what he beholds can not be shared with a more sensitive, emotional foil at the work. They come up with the belief that beauty and brain do not go along, we often come across the male satisfying there shortcomings with such kind of thoughts and those are the one who count the female as less talented and capable when it comes to perform a lucrative job, a creative performance and reaching a remarkable position. Nevertheless, women have always proved all these wrong.

There are often long-established attributes that are assigned to men and women, says Madeline E. Heilman, an expert on workplace sex bias and professor of psychology at New York University. It’s unanimously accepted that women take care of others and nurture, while men are seen as taking charge and being assertive. The problem is, she says, when we map these attributes onto the workplace the male attributes are much more sought after. “I call this the lack of fit,” she explains, because the perceived attributes of women don’t fit the leadership mold. “When women succeed in areas they’re not supposed to they are disapproved of greatly, by everyone, men and women.”

This is perhaps the everlasting battle amongst the gender but with time whether its man or woman, all understand that the capability of a person is specific to individual irrespective of the gender. Women are beaming up with their talents amongst and amidst the men population. At several work places the cases of sexual, verbal or non verbal harassments have come across, and with the number of women heading towards the professional life, such cases have only increased, but indeed, the more they are educated, learned, they understand what can protect their vulnerability and how they can keep a pace with this world and shine with their glare.

An expression of Life

Life gives such demystifying experiences and leaves you all shaken with no support to be considered around. You live a life of a skeleton with some flesh over it, there is no heart, no feelings, and all you do is just follow the daily routine and mundane lifestyle, where there is no space for emotions and love. This is perhaps having become the common story of all the working professionals. The current prospect will give you more details where everybody is actually running around to fulfill the simple needs of life like the shelter, cloth and food but to get the same and maintain the status it gets way too complicated, you get thousands and you want to earn lacs, they get lacs and want crores. This whole mania of being status symbol and eye catcher and cat race of society hifi symbols have made life so rushing, peace less and uninspired, nonspiritual, chasing unwanted things is defiantly unwarranted and still the life revolves around this.

What do we get out of it all, probably the money, status, name and fame, but still we can’t change as this is something which is undeniably forcing the world to move on, the reluctant way of humans to live a peaceful, less polluted and populated with extra show offs is just off beat. You are forced to be the way you are supposed to be in this world, I often come across with people who earn and show only for those who don’t matter at all, and go away from people who do. Life looks like a mystery where you don’t have an idea what you do and why you do and for whom you do it for. The moment you learn this perhaps all the unraveled questions will be solved and you will see an inner peace taking charge over you, you can decide the best things for you.

More often we tend to think a lot about future and get entrapped in the worry which is beyond our control, but the moment you find yourself getting pulled in such thoughts the best way is to get back to present which is undeniably more peaceful, content and euphoric.
